Cousins!

I don't know if you all remember the Thanksgiving picture we took of the 5 cousins-but I'd have to say that "sitting" went significantly better than this one from yesterday! Someday we'll get a picture of all 5 of them smiling AND looking at the camera-until then-these will do!

We started out with a few attempts at jumping off the couch! Elizabeth being the ring-leader is showing Lena and Kylie how it's done!

I think these three are plotting something!

Wait a minute...are we missing someone???

There we go-Jenna was just not feeling pictures. But she was great entertainment for the other four-instead of trying to jump off the couch-they'd just watch Jenna!
I love Lena, Elizabeth & Kylie's expression, it's like they're thinking,"what's the big deal-it's just a picture"

At least JJ is looking straight ahead!
You'd think having mom in the picture would help Jenna-but as you can see, it clearly did not!

This girl is just bound and determined not to sit still!
NOW Jenna smiles-too bad the other 4 have already had enough for one day!

Good job everyone! Maybe we'll try this again at Thanksgiving! It was fun having all 5 of you together!

BIRTHDAY GIRL!

A FEW PARTY PICS!

"All American Girl"

Happy Birthday Baby-We love you!

Random song I just heard on the radio that reminded me of the day we brought Kylie home. "All American Girl" by Carrie Underwood. It's one of Eric's favorites-yes, it's true-one of Eric's favorite songs is a country song!

"Since the day they got married
He'd been praying for a little baby boy
Someone he could take fishing
Throw the football and be his pride and joy
He could already see him holding that trophy
Taking his team to state
But when the nurse came in with a little pink blanket
All those big dreams changed
And now, he's wrapped around her fingerS
he's the center of his whole world
And his heart belongs to that sweet, little, beautiful, wonderful, perfect
All American girl
Sixteen short years later
She was falling for the senior football star
Before you knew it he was dropping passes
Skipping practice just to spend more time with her
The coach said, hey son what's your problem
Tell me have you lost your mind
Daddy said you'll lose your free ride to college
Boy, you better tell her goodbye
But now, he's wrapped around her finger
She's the center of his whole world
And his heart belongs to that sweet, little, beautiful, wonderful, perfect
All American
And when they got married and decided to have one of their ownS
he said, be honest, tell me what you want
And he said, honey you outta know
A sweet, little, beautiful one just like youI want a beautiful, wonderful, perfect
All American
Now, he's wrapped around her fingerShe's the center of his whole world
And his heart belongs to that sweet, little, beautiful, wonderful, perfect
All American girl
Birthday pictures coming soon! :)

Go Figure

Just when it starts getting nice out and we think we've made it through winter without too many bugs...Kylie gets croup! Though we're thankful it's not worse-it's still not fun. Last night was a long night for Mommy and Daddy with Kylie kicking, tossing and turning the whole night.

At least she's still happy though-we sure lucked out there!

Stay away from us for a few days! Here's hoping Eric and I stay healthy!
